Flat shoes...not even sure what they are called in America as they became the 'in' thing whilst living over here...are called PUMPS. But you have to say with a Yorkshire accent otherwise it doesn't count.
Actually I think it is Yorkshire anyway, as my boss, who is from Doncaster, first called them that to me...and I was like 'What are "pumps"?' And so she had to explain.
I hate those moments.
